Toluca Lake

Toluca Lake is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles located in the San Fernando Valley, Just east/northeast of Studio City.  Originally part of the property owned by the Mission San Fernando Rey de España, it was bought by Isaac Lankershim in the late 1860s.  In 1923, investors bought and developed the land as “Toluca Lake Park,” due to its proximity to Toluca Lake, which is now surrounded by private residences and the Lakeside Golf Club.  With many popular shops and restaurants, Riverside Drive runs through the heart of Toluca Lake and leads to some of the famous movie/television studios, such as Warner Bros.
